![]() Street Fighter III was produced for the CD-ROM-based CP System III hardware, which allowed for more elaborate 2D graphics than the CPS II-based Street Fighter Alpha games (the previous incarnation of the Street Fighter series), while revamping many of the play mechanics. The game's name as it appears on the cabinet is Three: A New Generation of Street Fighters. It's been many years.Street Fighter III: New Generation ( Japanese: ストリートファイターIII -New Generation-) is a fighting game in Capcom's Street Fighter series, originally released as a coin-operated arcade game in 1997. Sega's Eighteen Wheeler, I'd like to see on consoles again too. Super Monaco GP the arcade game is insanely difficult. So many cool Sega arcade games totally ignored by Sega to consoles. The only console arcade sega games I've played were the ones unlocked in all the varied Sega Genesis Collections as bonuses. Then the reviews arrived so I held off on buying it.Ī home conversion of all the Sega Arcade games and Death Adder would've been awesome. That's one I never played on PS3, as it only had Tyris in there and it didn't even look like the character from the first game. If M2 is can take a break from ShotTriggers they should get back to Sega ageS. Seriously though, I'd be happy Sega gave us a quality home conversion of Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder while we wait for the new game. Tbh when I saw Golden Axe characters in a 3D world, the first thing that came to mind was Tyris Flare's finest moment: Golden Axe: Beast Rider That would be great, but I'd love to see some stuff that never left the arcade like Planet Harriers or Harley Davidson & L.A Riders. The quality of Sonic has been all over the place for years. I'm hoping the new games will be good, but I won't go so far as to "hold my breath." Even when Sega seems to get on the right track with something, it doesn't take long for them to get derailed. I'm limited on space and only have 2 A1up cabinets, but I would buy that if done correctly. Even if that means the re-release comes at a higher cost than previous re-releases, that is fine, I will happily pay it.Īnd while I may be going even further down that tangent, if they were to renew that licensing, I would love to see Sega work with a company like Arcade1Up to make a new sit down Crazy Taxi cabinet (that is obviously smaller than the actual original arcade, but large enough to work well for a full sized adult). I would also love for them to re-release the original game on current consoles, BUT actually renew all of the licensing for the music, stores, restaurants, etc. I'm particularly interested in the new Crazy Taxi if it ends up being good. This is all great news though, and I am really happy to see Golden Axe will emerge as a new game hopefully by 2025. I don't want to play as a horse, but the original 3 heroes as a big fan of Golden Axe 1 arcade and the Genesis version. The sequel, Revenge of Death Adder, was good, but too many odd characters like the horse guy for example. I really hope they get Tyris Flare and Ax Battler in there too. Good to see Gillius Thunderhead the Dwarf. Not being a side scroller brawler will be an adjustment. Hopefully they'll get it perfected here with this new developer creating it if not Sega firsthand.Īnd a 3D space Golden Axe. ![]() The last attempt by Sega was with Fighting Force, which was originally going to be Streets of Rage but in 3D space. I'll probably buy it as a fan.Ī 3D Streets of Rage. ![]() Streets of Rage 4 was excellent and proof that when Sega licenses out their properties, they finally offer new games of the classics.Ī new Shinobi, side scroller looks interesting.
